This is why America is not as evolved as we like to think

I was browsing the internet this evening, and I come across an article on MSNBC.

Evidently, there are some people that are perfectly okay when it comes to the vicious imagery of slavery.

I could not ever imagine being involved in a situation where props like the one from the article are left behind.

Racism is one of the darkest periods of this country. There is no reason whatsoever for any human being to, in essence, own another hunman being. We are all the same race. The human race.

I wish I could be more eloquent in describing my feelings towards racial hatred.

I see it all the time. I work in construction. Typically on a job site, the only available means of going to the restroom are port-a-cans. Going inside one of these on a job site can be a stunning experience. And, it does not always have to do with the conditions :-) By viewing the writings on the walls, one can peer into the deep seated racial hatred in various people.

I have seen vitriloic slanders aimed at many different types of people. I get tired of seeing such anger.

So, when I see an article like the one linked above, it just depresses me. All I can think is, "Well, it's just more of the same."

There is no place anywhere in this world for such acts of extreme racial hatred.

Let me know what you think of the whole matter.

In this blogspace, I am going to try to post topics that should evoke debate among the readers.
